Recorded in autumn 2018 in my childhood home's "music room", a very tiny space right under the roof, exactly where I used to practise drums and started playing guitar. I used the old 4-channel-but-only-3-really-work mixer that I borrowed from my old roommate Julia (shout out!) for my band Rather Raccoon (
rather-raccoon.bandcamp.com shout out as well!) and that she won't get back anytime soon, because we still need it for rehearsal. Two mics were used, a very old Shure 545 that I - let's say - inherited from the brass band (shout out to Blaska Weng) I used to play with and still do so from time to time. Please don't tell them! The second one was just a random dynamic Mic from our rehearsal room, AKG I think.
The guitar I used is my beloved cheap Fender CF with a magnetic pickup stuck inside the soundhole.
I had the tape captured on my Laptop and completely forgot about it untill Thaddeus "Spider Monkey" Rosa (last shout out, I promise) randomly reminded me of it, without him knowing that even existed. I did a quick and rough mastering and put it on here for everyone to enjoy/tolerate.
Dedicated to my true love, who caused all this acoustic pop punk songwriting about desire, mistakes and love.
